Nineteen-year-old NYU students Szymon Pawica and Mikus Kannenieks have launched a project on Kickstarter touting the world’s first square travel mug. This product serves the same function as any run-of-the-mill thermos, but it’s its innovative cuboid design that catches the eye. Using the Connex 500 3D printer developed by NASA for the prototype, the production JOHN TUMBLER features a rubber outer surface and ergonomic shape for exceptional grip, stainless steel insulation to help maintain internal temperature levels, and a leak-proof twisting mechanism.
